TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Shane Larkin who was once believed to be headed to Florida State killed them Wednesday -- 22 points for one of the younger players on Miami's veteran squad.
The son of baseball Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin, his pedigree has been clear this season as Shane is considered one of the top point guards in the country.
The Miami sophomore point guard scored 13 of his 22 points in the final 7 1-2 minutes to help sure #1 seed in the NCAA tournament if things continue as scheduled.
Miami is well coach Jim Larranaga who made final four with George Mason -- maybe a championship with this team of seasoned citizens.
