As the Boston College football team closed the 2016 season with a three-game winning streak – including a 36-30 win over Big 10 foe Maryland in the Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 26 – fans have taken a renewed interest in the Eagles.
Since mid-December, Boston College has sold almost 1,000 brand new season tickets as excitement builds for the upcoming season that will kick off Labor Day weekend.
The Eagles' six-game home slate includes a collection of traditional college football power houses, including Notre Dame, Florida State and Virginia Tech, plus NC State, Wake Forest and Central Michigan.
"Our fans are excited for 2017," JM Caparro, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, said. "As our sales and service staffs have been talking to fans the last few months, we've definitely heard that they're very interested to see the growth of the Eagles on the field next season, building off the great end-of-season run this year.
"We're pleased that many long-time fans are excited to re-engage with the program and that we've attracted a base of new fans who want to come aboard," Caparro said.
Season ticket memberships for the 2017 season start at $199, with special pricing available for Boston College's GOLD alumni (Graduates of the Last Decade).
Season ticket members have access to a host of benefits, including flexible payment plans, access to seat upgrades, discounts on both concessions and merchandise, as well as priority access to purchase tickets to away games and postseason/bowl games.
