RALEIGH, N.C. - Wolfpack cornerback Jack Tocho has been named to the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today. The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.
Tocho, a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter for the Wolfpack, graduated in three years with a finance degree. A 2016 season captain, he was a semifinalist for the NFF's William Campbell Trophy - given to the nation's top student-athlete. He was a two-time Academic All-ACC performer and ranked 11th in the ACC last season in passes defended.
Tocho took part at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis back in early March, and is now awaiting the 2017 NFL Draft which will be held April 27-29.
Qualifications for membership in the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include: being a starter or a significant contributor; achieving a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout entire course of undergraduate study; and meeting all NCAA -mandated progress towards degree requirements.
