Boston College running back Andre Williams has ascended from a mediocre to the best in the nation. Going into the last week of the season Williams has amassed 2073 yards rushing.
Williams has blown away BC's all-time single season rushing record. It's only the 16th time in FBS history a player has reached the 2000 yard mark.
In a year where the Heisman talk has been all about the quarterback – I think that Williams should definitely be in consideration for the award as the Nations Top Football Player. It's almost certain that Williams will be attending the award ceremony, if not they need to change what they award is – because it won't be for the Nations Top Football Player.
