When Clemson started the season it was Cole Stoudt that would be leading the Tigers to hopefully another BCS Bowl victory. But as this season is unfolding maybe it's the raw talented freshman Deshaun Watson who is the natural heir apparent to Tajh Boyd.
Though Cole Stoudt is a solid quarterback the young Watson is a more dynamic player. What has to be taken into consideration is the division of the team in who they feel should be the starter. Coach Dabo Swinney has his hands full with this decision as the Tigers really need to buckle up and make a run to salvage the season.
It would be hard for me to go back to Cole Stoudt as the starter after Deshaun Watson's performance in Doak Campbell Stadium in front of that type of crowd. But at the same time I feel that Stoudt is a good leader that has had command of the team.
